Carrot halwa/Gajar ka halwa

Ingredients:

Ghee to roast the nuts-1 small cup

Method:

In a pressure cooker add milk and carrots and cook with two whistles. And once the pressure is down remove the lid and keep stirring it well by adding saffron and full cream until the milk observes and then add sugar and then stir well. And add a teaspoon of ghee and cardamom powder. When you get a consistency add the roasted nuts and serve hot.

•I used pressure cooker for easy work. But you can use pan too.

•Khoya can be added and will taste really good but it’s optional

•food color can be added to it for extra color for a beautiful orangish color.
