Snake guard poriyal

Ingredients

Snake guard-150 gms

Oil-3tbsp

Mustard-1/4tsp

Urud dal-1/2tsp

Red chili powder-1 tsp

Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp

Asafetida-1/4tsp

Salt as needed

Besan flour(kadalai maavu)-1 1/2tbsp

Curry leaves

Method:

In a pan add oil,mustard,urud dal,curry leaves and then add the chopped snake guard and then sauté well. Then add turmeric powder,asafetida,salt and red chili powder and sauté it.

Cover it with lid and cook for 5 to 7 mins by splashing water.

Then add the besan flour and sauté well for two mins and switch off the flame..

A delicious and different taste and goes well with rice.!
