Sabudana/javarisi payasam

Sago kheer:



Sugar-1 cup

Milk-1/2 cup

Full cream-1tbsp

Ghee-1/4 cup


Raisins-5 to 6

Elachi powder- 1/4 cup

Saffron -little


Soak sago for one hour minimum in like warm water( water should not be hot of too warm)

In a pan add ghee cashews and raisins and fry well..and add the sago to it and sauté .

To it add water and then after 5 mins add sugar,milk and saffron.

To this add cream and mix well.

Then add the elachi/cardamom powder.

The kheer/payasam is ready to serve.

Can serve warm or cold.!
