Melagu/pepper vadai:
Ingredients:
Urud dal-1 cup
Moong dal-3tsp
Pepper-1tsp
Cumin-1tsp
Rice flour-3tbsp
Rock salt-1/2tsp
Oil for frying
Method:
Soak urud dal in hot water for 20mins.
Grind urud dal without water and adding salt. Soak moong dal for 10minutes.
In a bowl add the grounded urud
dal,soaked moong dal,grounded pepper and jeera.
Then to it add rice flour and mix well
In a transparent sheet just tap the vadai into shape with fingers by sprinkling little water so that it won’t stick on to the sheet.
Fry them in oil.and vadai is ready.!
And I made curd rice and panagam for today’s pooja..!
