So who loves BEETROOT HALWA?
.
.
A dessert craving can be never ending for some.! Some can compensate just by taking a teaspoon of sugar. As nowadays we all are in diet or conscious on health. We surely skip to eat sweets.. be it even the authentic one.! .
.
I can never say no to This heaven, carrot Halwa and Gulab Jamun.! They are never ending love for me. .
.
I don’t have a sweet tooth. But can’t resist when I see them. .
.
I prefer them warm.. how do you prefer? 😉
.
.
Let’s get on to the quick recipe method:
.
.
1. Pressure cook peeled and grated beetroots by adding 1/2 cup of whole milk and 1/2 cup of diluted heavy cream. With two whistles. Let it cool and then transfer them to a pan. .
2. After adding them to the pan cook until the milk evaporates and then to it add 3/4 th cup of Brown sugar. (You can use the routine white sugar too) and then add 1 tbsp of condensed milk (an option) and stir well and this will take at least 7 mins. .
3. Once the Halwa got a consistency then add dash of saffron and cardamom powder and temper in ghee with cashews and raisins.!
.
.
Serve hot and it’s very easy and tasty too.! Enjoy ❤️
