Spring roll

Ingredients

Pastry sheet-5 or 6

Onion-1/spring onion-1 cup

Cabbage-1/4 cup

Grated carrot-1/4cup

Ginger & garlic-1tsp

Pepper powder -1/4 tsp

Salt-1/2tsp

Red chili sauce-1/4 tsp

Soy sauce-1/3tsp

Vinegar-1tsp

Corn flour-1/2tsp

Maida/all purpose flour-1/2tsp

Oil- for frying

Method:

In a pan add a teaspoon of oil and add the minced ginger and garlic and sauté it.

Then add onion to it.. (supposed to add spring onions and it’s greens but I dint have so used regular onion)

Add salt and then after two minutes add the grated carrot and chopped cabbage to it and mix well.

Then add the pepper powder,sauces and vinegar.

After sautéing it for 5 mins on high add the corn flour paste to it.

Then sauté it for two minutes and then keep it aside.

Take the pastry sheet and place the sautéed mixture on the sheet

Then just wrap it as an envelope and paste it with all purpose flour paste and deep fry it.

Enjoy hot spring roll with tomato sauce.! 💁🏻‍♀️
