Homemade Vegan Protein powder

Wanted to buy protein powder for myself and my kids.. but when I checked in they are expensive and not sure kids will take it ,even though they are organic, gluten free and vegan..

Thought of preparing a protein powder at home..! Which is an easy job and I had almost all the ingredients.

They are rich in protein and it contains NO Soy,Diary,Lactose, gluten,GMO.!

And purely homemade..

We may feel it heavy but I guess for kids it will be perfect provided they allow us to feed them this 😁

The flavor and aroma are relishing..!

And this can be added to our daily smoothie, oatmeal, breakfast cereal, milk, milkshakes, healthy snack balls, and even in water.

It has no added sugar..

And we can make some tasty variations by adding coco powder for chocolate flavor and even vanilla bean for vanilla flavor..

I made a small quantity and not more so that I can use it first and then make in larger quantity later looking at the usage.

We can store this in refrigerator or in an airtight container for the shelf life.

And further other detail about the seeds we all know and am not going to brief and let me jump on to the ingredients directly.

INGREDIENTS:

Dry pea-1 cup

Oatmeal-1 cup

Almonds-1/2 cup

Flax seeds-1/4 cup

Chia seeds-1/4 cup

Poppy seeds-1/3 cup

Pumpkin seeds-1/4 cup

Melon seeds-1/4 cup

The other possible ingredients we can use in here is wild rice/red rice/brown rice, hemp seeds, sunflower seeds, even some flavors of cardamom and cinnamon..

I added melon seeds. But it’s not necessary. Replace them with sunflower seeds.

I would say you can add turmeric too 😉 as it has got lot of benefits.

METHOD:

Dry roast each and every ingredients separately..

Allow it to cool..

And blend into a powder together.
