Ingredients
Sepankizhangu(colacassia)-4
Thuvar dal-2tbsp
Green chili-1 chopped
Ginger-1/4 piece chopped
Curry leaves
Mustard-1/4 tsp
Urud dal-1/2 tsp
Asafetida-1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Lemon-1/2
Oil-2tsp
Salt as needed
METHOD
Pressure cook sepankizhangu and dal..
And then in a pan add oil,mustard,urud dal,curry leaves,green chilies and ginger.
To it add sepankizhangu mashed and then to it add turmeric,asafetida,salt.
Add 1/4 cup of water and cook for 2 minutes.
Then addd the mashed cooked dal and cook for 5 minutes and then squeeze lemon..
As it gives a tangy nice flavor to the masiyal.
Coriander leaves can be added to it.
Serve with rice,dosa or idly..!
