Beans pepper thuvaran

Ingredients:

Beans-100’gms

Thuvar dal-2tbsp

Urud dal-2tbsp

Pepper corns-3tsp

Turmeric-1/4tsp

Asafetida-1/2tsp

Salt as needed

Curry leaves

Mustard-1/4tsp

Urud dal-1/2 tsp

Oil-3tbsp

Method:

Soak both the dal for 20 mins..

You can use even Chana dal.. to make this usili..

Then boil beans by adding salt.

Then in a blender coarsely grind the dal’s by adding pepper corns,turmeric and asafetida and salt to it.

Then in a pan add oil,mustard,urud dal,curry leaves and the grounded dal paste and cook on low flame for 7mins.

Then add the boiled beans to it and cook for 5 more mins.

Serve hot with vathakuzhambu,sambar or rasam rice.. even best with curd rice.
