GREEN MOONG & WHOLE BLACK URUD DAL DOSA:
So naturally I made whole green moong dal sambar this morning and I was left with some extra moong so I decided to make this.
I prepared the batter for two person.
So here is the proportion
GREEN MOONG DAL -1/2 cup
BLACK URUD DAL-1/2 cup
RAW RICE-1/2 cup
Soak the above overnight or in the morning to prepare it for dinner.
Then grind them into batter by adding salt,1 tsp of asafetida powder & 6 green chilies,1/4 piece ginger.
Add some curry leaves and one teaspoon of Fennel seeds while making the dosa.
Serve hot with butter,gun powder or any chutney and sambar..
NOTE:
1. You can add grated coconut to the batter while grinding .. and instead of fennel seeds you can add cumin seeds and flax seeds too.
2. Add coriander leaves and onions & capsicum if needed ..
3. While preparing batter you can add 2tsp of fenugreek seeds too.
Trust me.. this came out both soft on the inside and crispy on the corner..
