A quick dal
Potato & Peas curry
1. Pressure cook 3/4 cup of moong dal, mash and keep aside.
2. In a pan add 3 tsp of oil, to it add 3/4th tsp of mustard seeds, 1tsp cumin seeds and chopped onions..
3. Sauté and add 2 cut green chilies and grated ginger to it.. and add 1 chopped tomato.. add 1/2 tsp of turmeric and salt and cook for 5 mins on medium. Then add the mashed dal.
4. Now add 3/4 th cup of water to the dal and add 1 tsp of garlic powder, 1/2 tsp of mango powder ,1tsp of cumin powder. Cook for 5 more mins.. garnish with chopped coriander leaves and 1 tbsp of ghee..
(Add lemon juice or chaat masala If needed)
