Paneer Khadi pakora

PANEER KHADI PAKORA:

I just gave a try with paneer than the usual onions or routine pakoras in khadi ..

It came out really well.. and tasty.

Can use the pakoras separately as a starter and it tastes great.!

FOR KHADI BATTER:

In a bowl add 2tbsp Gram flour, 2tbsp Curd, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1tbsp red chili powder, salt, 1tsp coriander powder, 1tsp garam masala powder, and add 3 cups of water to it and stir well. Keep them aside.

FOR PAKORAS:

Add 2 tbsp of gram flour, 1tbsp of corn flour, salt, 1tsp carom seeds(Ajwain/Omam) , 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tbsp Red chili powder, 1 sliced onions, 1 cup chopped paneer pieces, 1tsp kasuri methi and mix everything well by adding water little by little to make pakora.

Deep fry them in oil and keep it aside.

METHODOLOGY:

1. In a pan add 2 tsp oil/ghee and to it add 1 tsp mustard seeds, 1/4 tsp fenugreek seeds, 1tsp fennel seeds and add sliced onions.

2. To it add 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder and salt for onions and sauté for 3 mins.

3. Add the gram flour khadi batter and cook on low flame for 20 mins. By stirring in between so that it won’t stick on to the pan.

4. Then add the fried pakoras and then drizzle with chopped coriander leaves.

Serve them hot with rice or roti.
