Hello all.. I had a craving of some cookies but this time I wanted to have savory cookies.. so hmmm.. thought of making this one with some cheese , and some healthy ingredients along..
This is completely not Keto or low carb cookie.. but yes it does has got some good ingredients. Well you can substitute some according to your needs. Lemme write down the basic ingredients and method of this Short Bread Cookies.
INGREDIENTS:
1& 1/2 cup -All purpose flour
1/2 cup -Almond flour
Butter-3 tbsp
Salt as needed
Sugar-1 tbsp
Baking soda-1 tsp
Yoghurt-2 tbsp
Carrot grated -2 nos
Grated Mozzarella cheese- handsful
Green chilies-3
Fresh Parsley-1 tbsp
White/Black Sesame seeds-2tsp
Chia seeds-2 tsp
Onion powder-1 tbsp
Garlic powder-1/2 tbsp
Dry ginger powder -2 tsp
Cumin powder-1tsp
METHOD:
1.Preheat oven at 375F and place parchment sheet ready on the cookie trays.
2. Prepare the dough with above ingredients and then add some more flour and kneed the dough well and roll it. And use a circle cookie cutter or a small cup and make the shape or select any cookie shaper.
3. Place the short breads on line and bake them for 25 mins.
4. Once they are done allow it to cool for 10 mins and then enjoy the delicious short bread cookies.!
Alter the ingredients according to your needs and taste.
NOTE:
You can add some vegetables if interested.
Can be made with complete almond flour for healthier version.
Instead of green chilies you can add pepper powder and whole cumins.
Chia can be substituted with flax seeds or just leave it plain.
Very well use coriander leaves instead of parsley leaves as I know it’s not easily available or cheap in India.
Whole wheat flour can be used. And mainly this is completely eggless.!
