How to make:
Chop the potatoes and keep them aside.in a pan add oil and then follow with mustard,urud dal and curry leaves.add the chopped potatoes to it and sauté it for a minute. Now add turmeric,salt,chili powder,asafetida and rasam powder. And sauté it well and cover it with lid and cook on medium to low flame for 10 minutes.. and remove the lid and to the roasted potatoes add 2tbsp of gram flour and sauté it for two mins and switch off the flame.
Good to go with hot rice,curd rice,roti.!
•adding gram flour enhances the flavor and also takes the oozing oil in the curry
•rasam powder gives an extra taste but if not having it you can skip it
•instead of chili powder and rasam powder you can also substitute with curry powder.
