Ingredients:
Manathakali vathal-2tbsp
Tamarind water -2 cups
Mustard-1/4tsp
Fenugreek-1/4 tsp
Thuvar dal-1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/4tsp
Sambar powder-1tsp
Chili powder-1/2tsp
Rock salt-1tbsp
Asafetida-1/4tsp
Rice flour-2tsp
Curry leaves
Oil-1tbsp
Gingely oil -1tbsp
Method:
In a pan add oil then add mustard,fenugreek and thuvar dal.. and then add manathakali vathal and fry well. Add curry leaves. It’s an option.
Then to it add turmeric,asafetida,salt,chili powder and sambar powder and sauté well. Then Along with it add rice flour so that after the kuzhambu boils it will thicken automatically.
Now add the tamarind water and allow it to boil for 5 to 10 minutes. Then if needed add some more rice flour.
At last add gingely oil.
Hot kuzhambu is ready to serve with rice and even wonderful combination for curd rice.
