Vepampoo rasam

Ingredients:

Tamarind paste -1tbsp

Turmeric-1/4tsp

Asafetida-1/4tsp

Rock salt-1tbsp

Tomato-1

Curry leaves

Vepampoo-1tbsp

Ghee-1tbsp

Red chili-5

Pepper corns-1/4tsp

Mustard-1/4tsp

Cumin-1/2tsp

Method:

Keep tamarind water ready.

Then in a vessel add the tamarind water,turmeric,salt and asafetida.

Then after two minutes add tomato. Then curry leaves.

In a separate pan add ghee,red chilies,mustard,cumin and pepper corns and sauté well. And add them to the rasam. Then fry vepampoo in ghee and until it turns to black in color . Add them to the rasam.

Let it boil for 5 to 10mins.

Pipping hot rasam is ready.!

and this is good for Health too.!
