Basmati rice -1 1/2cup
Ginger garlic paste -1tbsp
Vegies- carrot,peas,beans & potatoes diced (1 cup)
Water -1 1/4 cup
Whole cinnamon -1
I used pressure cooker directly for this pulav to make it easy and simple.
In pressure cooker add oil and ghee and add cinnamon,anise , cardamom.
Then add onions ,green chilies and ginger garlic paste and sauté it well for 3 mins.
Then add the diced vegies and sauté it.
Then add the milk and water.
Add the basmati rice to it mix well and cover it with lid and pressure cook.
Pressure cook with two whistles and switch off the flame and wait for the pressure to release.
And then add chopped coriander leaves.
Hot pulav is ready to serve.
Serve it with any side dish u like or with simple onion or cucumber raitha or even with plain yoghurt.
