Indian hummus with veggies

I found this recipe from my skinny recipes..

It’s specially for people with thyroid and pcod issues..

It’s vegan,low carb and gluten free..

It falls under keto category..

Try out and enjoy the Indian version hummus which can be made at home easily and by anyone..

The ingredients in this are healthy and very good for health…

It’s a wise choice for people who want to reduce weight and can add this to your diet..

Ingredients

For making hummus:

Chickpea/Garbanzo/channa-1 cup

Lemon-1/2

Garlic-3 cloves

Pepper powder-1/2 tsp

Himalayan pink salt-1/2 tsp

Coconut oil/olive oil-1/2tsp

Fresh curry leaves- a strand

Turmeric-1/2tsp

Dry mango powder-1/4 tsp

Chaat masala-1/4 tsp

Chili flakes-1/3tsp

Cumin powder- a dash

Roasted sesame seeds-1/4tsp

Method

Soak chickpeas overnight and pressure cook with a whistle and use them or buy canned chickpeas..

Add them into a blender.. and to it add all the above listed ingredient.. add 1/4 cup of water and make it into a smooth paste..

It should not be gooey..

Just add little more water if needed.

Spread them into a serving bowl and toss in some chili flakes,cumin powder and roasted sesame seeds.and a drizzle of coconut oil/olive oil..

Serve this bowl of Indian hummus with your favorite vegetables..

I enjoyed with avocados,baby carrots,cucumber,green apple and some cabbage and paneer casserole dish that I made..
