(Lady’s finger with curry powder/ Bhindi fry)
The Recipe for curry powder is already in my page please check that for the details.
1. Slice ladysfinger and microwave by splashing water for 5 mins.
2. In a pan add 2 tbsp of oil and to it add 1tsp of mustard,1tsp of urud dal and then add the ladysfinger to it. Sauté for a second and add 1/4 tsp of turmeric and salt as needed.
3. Add 1/2 tsp of asafetida and the curry powder and let it cook for 5 to 7 mins on medium low.
4. And the poriyal is ready to serve hot with rice…
You can use coconut oil or ghee for sautéing
I did not add chili powder coz the curry powder will give the needed spice and my kids can not handle too spicy food. So add if you want more spice.
Instead of microwaving or you want to avoid microwave directly sauté it in stove asusual.!
