Channa masala & Toast.! .
We all love this channa masala (chickpea curry ) and usually have it with roti,naan,poori or with rice.. Just wanted to have with bread toast and ghee.! And definitely some of you would have tried or had in shop. .
It’s an amazing combo again. And can never fail in attracting our taste buds.. .
Quick method: ⬇️ 1. Boil Chana or buy canned one . Chop onions and in a pan add sesame oil/olive oil/ ghee and fry onions along with 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste . Sauté for three mins until the raw smell leaves.
2. Then add 1/2 tsp of turmeric ,salt and 1 tsp of Kashmiri red chili powder. Let it cook for a minute . Then add 1 cup of tomato purée and 1/2 cup of water and cover it with lid and cook.
3. Then to it add 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1 tsp of cumin powder and 2 tsp of Chana masala powder. Then add the Chana (chickpea ) along with water and cover with lid and allow it to cook for 5 more mins.
4. To it add 1 tsp of crushed Kasuri methi, 1/2 tsp of dry mango powder and 1/4 tsp of chaat masala powder .
5. Add chopped coriander leaves and temper in ghee by adding 1 tsp of cumins, 1 tsp of sesame seeds and 3/4 tsp of carom seeds (ajwain) and garnish. Serve hot with toasted bread or anything of your choice. .
