Oven baked Cauliflower tikka

Oven Baked Cauliflower Tikka.!

I have made two types. One is Gravy and other one is Dried version..

Writing down the recipe for both.! Take a look..

FOR MARINATION:

1. In a pan add 2 tbsp of oil, to it add 1 tsp of carom seeds and to it add 1 tbsp of Besan flour( chickpea flour) sauté on low without burning and forming lumps .. once done add them to a bowl.

2. To that mixture add 1/2 tsp turmeric,1tsp Kashmiri chili powder, salt, 1tsp coriander powder, 1tsp garam masala powder, 1tbsp ginger garlic paste , 1&1/2tbsp yoghurt(curd/dahi) , 1tsp kasuri methi, 1tbsp Mustard oil ( I substituted with olive oil) , 1/2 lemon juice . Mix well and add the florets into this and marinate for 10 mins..

3. Preheat oven at 375f and once marination done in a baking sheet or tray spray oil and add the marinated florets and bake for 10 mins.

FOR GRAVY:

1. In a pan add 1tbsp of oil and add one finely chopped onions. Cook them to brown and to it add 1tbsp of ginger garlic paste. Cool until the raw smell leaves. Then add 1/2tsp of turmeric,3/4th tsp of chili powder and salt as needed. Sauté for two mins and then add one cup of tomato purée and dilute with some water. Cover and let it cook

2. After 3 mins add 1tsp of coriander powder and 1tsp of garam masala powder , mix and cook well.

3.Add 1tbsp of cashew paste /Heavy cream and to it add 1tsp of kasuri methi.. cook for 4 mins and they are done. Drizzle coriander leaves and keep it aside. Once the cauliflowers are ready add them to this and garnish some more coriander leaves and enjoy eating with chapati, naan, paratha.

FOR DRY VARIATION:

1. In a pan add diced onions and bell pepper.

2. Add little salt to taste and to it add 1/4 tsp of turmeric and 1/2 tsp of chili powder and toss. Then once cooked add 1tsp kasuri methi and add the florets and toss.

3. Hot starter is ready to serve with main course or enjoy with green chutney ..
