Moong Dal-1 cup

Maida dough-1 1/2cup

Chaat masala-1/4tsp


Chili powder-1tsp

Coriander powder-1/2tsp

Cumin powder-1/2tsp

Garam masala-1/2tsp

Fennel powder-1/2tsp

Salt-1 1/2tsp

Sugar-1/4 tsp

Hing powder-1/4tsp

Oil for frying

Kasuri methi-1/2tsp(optional)


In a pan fry moong dal for two mins.

Then grind them into a coarse powder.

Make dough out of maida and keep it aside.

And then heat the pan and switch off the flame and add the powdered moong dal and the spices and sauté for a minute.

Then to the dal mix add some water and mix well.

And now make a thin corner with the dough and fill the dal fillings.

Then deep fry them in oil and hot kachori’s are ready to serve.

Can be served with coriander chutney or sauce or sweet sauce.

And I have served with Gajar ka halwa.!

Enjoy this kachori even with a hot cup of tea.

•Methi can be added for extra flavor

•onions can be added to it

•paneer can be added
