Bored and want to munch on some yummy snacks but conscious on ur carb in take and worried about your diet?.. it’s nothing new I have tried .. even I was craving to munch on something so found this sweet potato sleeping in my kitchen for past a week and thought I should make use of it than trying something out with potato.
So decided to make this baked wedges. Than frying it in oil😬
Disclaimer: I am not against oil. Though it’s not good for health I do like to eat🙈 but just tried it.
Let me now focus on the recipe.!
Ingredients
Sweet potato-2 big
Chili powder-1/2 tsp
Salt-1/2 tsp
Oil/olive oil-1tbsp
Pepper powder-1/3tsp
Dried parsley-1/4tsp
Optional-(instead of parsley curry leaves crushed can be used and garlic powder can be added)
Method:
In a bowl add the cut sweet potatoes and on top of it drizzle with oil,chili powder,pepper powder,salt and parsley.. toss them together.
Preheat the oven at 220c.
Then in a pizza pan or a wide pan place the butter sheet or baking sheet and apply a little oil and then arrange the wedges on it.
Bake them for 20 to 25 mins and they are ready to serve.. if you want it crispy try baking for some more minutes.
