Curry leaves rice

Ingredients for making curry leaf powder:

Curry leaves -1 cup

Urud dal-1/2cup

Red chili-6

Asafetida-3/4tsp

Salt as needed

Oil-2tsp

Method:

In a pan dry roast curry leaves or microwave it for 5 mins on high.

Then in a pan add oil then sauté red chilies,urud dal and asafetida well.

Then let it cool. Then in a blender add the dried curry leaves,sautéed items. Add salt and blend into coarse powder.

Healthy , aromatic greeny curry leaf powder is ready..

To make the rice:

Add the powder to the rice and mix well. If interested garnish cashews on ghee and mix it to the rice.!
