Cauliflower kheema curry

As we all know cauliflower is a healthy vegetable and has many benefits..

Instead of making regular cauliflower florets veggie curry or fried one I thought of making this shredded kheema curry which is delicious as well good to go with rice and you can have it as it is.. kids will love this too..

Ingredients

Cauliflower(shredded or grounded coarsely) -2 cups

Onion-1

Tomato-1

Green chili-1/4 piece

Turmeric-1/4tsp

Red chili powder-1/2tsp

Coriander powder-1/2tsp

Cumin powder-1/2tsp

Asafetida-1/4tsp

Mustard-1tsp

Urud dal-1tsp

Cumin-1tsp

Lemon-1/2

Dill leaves- few strands chopped(optional)

Coriander leave

Ghee-1tbsp

Method

Shred the cauliflower or you can coarsely grind in the blender.

Chop onions and tomatoes

In a pan add ghee and then to it add mustard,urud dal,cumin and then to it add chopped onions and tomatoes ..

Add turmeric,red chili powder,salt,coriander powder and cumin powder and asafetida..

Then add the shredded cauliflower and sauté and cook for 5 mins by covering with lid..

Then drizzle some water and cook for two more mins and squeeze half of lemon juice.. then garnish with chopped dill leaves.. you can also use coriander leaves or parsley according to your taste.

You can also add garam masala powder if you like..
