Turmeric masala Nut Milk

This recipe is made with Nut milk. Which includes Almond and walnut.

It’s diary-free , soy-free, non-gmo, gluten free and mainly its organic and it’s purely extracted from almonds and walnuts.

Almond milk is nutritious. It’s low in calories,they are good for bones.

Unsweetened almond milk doesn’t raise your blood sugar.

It may reduce the heart disease and they are rich in Vitamin D.

Walnuts has phytonutrients which serve as powerful antioxidants with anti inflammatory benefits and can fight against cancer.

This super food is rich is magnesium,manganese,copper and phosphorus. They are loaded with omega 3 fatty acids.

Promotes healthy gut. Supports weight control ,Manage type 2 diabetics and lower your risk. Help lower blood pressure.

Both the nuts are good for skin and hair.

Turmeric an old spice comes under ginger family has lot of benefits and it has antibacterial properties which serves as an excellent resource for health and skin.

It has curcumin which is natural anti inflammatory.

It is considered as one of worlds healthiest food ingredient.

Now let me go to the recipe than giving long lectures on the items above (🙈)

INGREDIENTS:

Almond milk-1/2 cup

Walnut milk-1/2 cup

Turmeric -1/2 tsp

Coconut sugar-2 tsp

Homemade masala powder-1 tsp

Saffron- few strands.

INGREDIENTS FOR HOMEMADE MASALA POWDER:

Cardamom-5 to 6

Cinnamon stick -1 (long)

Cloves-5 to 6

Pepper corns -1 tsp

Star anise -2

Dry ginger powder-1 tsp

Turmeric -1 tsp

TO MAKE THE MASALA POWDER:

  • 1. Blend all the spices together in a blender and store it in an air tight container .
  • 2. Other type is dry roast these ingredients and cool it and blend into powder and store in a box .
  • YOU CAN USE THESE IN TEA,MILK.
  • AND YOU CAN ALSO KEEP THEM OUTSIDE IN ROOM TEMPERATURE AND IT WONT GET SPOILED.
  • TO MAKE THE MILK:
  • 1. In a blender add all the ingredients under the ingredient list (along with this masala powder) and whip it on high.
  • 2. By warming the milk before whipping will give you a frothy effect and will be good. Just add in few strands of saffron and a pinch of cinnamon dusted to the milk along with pinch of turmeric.
  • NOTE:

  • You can make these milk at home by soaking almonds and walnuts in like warm water for 30 mins and blend well in a blender and strain it.
  • I used store bought as its easily available for me and it costs less too.
