Ginger & oatmeal cookies with a cup of indian tea.!

.

.

I love gingers in my tea and when it’s tossed in with my biscuit or cookie it’s a yum yum. It’s quite filling and nice.. of course quoted with sugar.. which you can skip if your conscious 😃

.

.

Toss in 1 egg,1 tsp of vanilla essence,1/4 cup brown sugar,1/3 cup white sugar, 3 oz of butter and whisk well and to it add 2 cups all purpose flour,1/4 cup oatmeal,2 tsp ground ginger powder,1 &1/2 tsp cinnamon powder ,1 tsp baking powder. Mix well.

.

.

Preheat oven at 375f and roll the cookie dough into a round shape. If you want to use rolling pin dust a little with flour else make the dumplings with your hands and flatten and drizzle with sugar and bake them for 25 to 30 mins.

.

.

Avoid white sugar if you don’t want to add and adding molasses will give u a chewy and crispy cookie together. I made it little thick and you can thin this one too.!
